Tsuji san’s 2025 Shuppin Matcha Tasting

The long awaited yearly opportunity to taste Tsuji san’s 2025 Shuppin Asahi and Ujihikari is here!

This event is only recommended for guests who are interested in the highest quality matcha. Each guest will enjoy a tasting of both non competition Asahi and Ujihikari as usucha, followed by a full serving Shuppin Asahi and Shuppin Ujihikari usucha, followed by a tasting of Shuppin Asahi and Shuppin Ujihikari koicha. We aim to spend one hour on each cultivar. 

Two seasonal wagashi and wasanbon will be served for this event. Vegan friendly.

Date: Wednesday 21st January 2026 

Times: 11:00-13:00 & 15:00-17:00

Duration: 2 hours

Seating: Tea bar - 6 guests maximum per timeslot

Price: £75 per guest

Guests attending will receive 20% discount to purchase Tsuji’s matcha at the event.

Remarks: 
The usual rules of the teahouse apply to this event, i.e. no perfume, no lipsticks, brief photos, no videos. Conservations amongst guests and hosts are highly encouraged!
