[FULLY BOOKED] SHINCHA TASTING EVENT

[12 seats only]

Please join us for this special tasting event to celebrate the shincha (first harvest) season and the hard working farmers/producers. The line up will consist of around 5-6 teas selected as our 2025 shincha favourites, including Okutomi san’s incredibly rare Kirari 31 Temomicha (handrolled tea), as well as a limited release of shincha matcha from Yamaguchi san. Pairing wagashi will include the most special freshly made Honwarabimochi, made only with 100% honwarabiko. Please look forward to it!

OMIYAGE:

Each guest will receive Hachiju Hachiya Gentei Shincha 100g tin - picked on the 1st May (the 88th day counting from Risshun, the arrival of Spring).

TEA BAR SEATS - 6 guests maximum.

REMARKS:

Guests will be seated at tea bar. Bookings for 2 or 4 or 6 guests will be considered first, so if you would like to book for 1 or 3 or 5 guests please email us to register your interest. We will try to combine these into full timeslots of 6 guests.  

The usual rules of the teahouse apply to this event, i.e. no perfume, no lipstick, brief photos, no videos. Discussions amongst guests and hosts are highly encouraged! 

If you will be parking nearby we would recommend a minimum duration of four hours (just in case we can’t stop talking about all the amazing people we work with).

Payment is taken in advance. Once the seats are confirmed we will be sending the link for payment. If you request to cancel, refunds will only be given if the space(s) are filled. Thank you for understanding!
