Autumn shincha - a blend of Saemidori, Tsuyuhikari, Okuyutaka and Okumidori. The leaves were picked during shincha season (first harvest) in late April early May and vacuumed for storage in -30 degrees and now it is ready for drinking. Not only the fresh smell like shincha we had in May but a sweeter and rounder umami flavour produced during this period of ageing, known as jukusei. Expect a deep aroma when opening this tea!
