NEW YEAR TEA PARTY 2026

Join us for our first tea event in 2026 - 24 seats in total.

We are welcoming the new year with a special tasting of teas from the Kuma family, including a flight of the reverred Saemidori cultivar, grown and processed as Yame Dentou Hon Gyokuro, Tencha and Matcha (prepared in both koicha and usucha) along with Oobukucha (new year tea using Okuyutaka Sencha as a base), Houjicha and Wakoucha.

Pairing items include takikomi gohan, tsukemono, oden, hanabiramochi and wasanbon.

TEA BAR SEATS - 6 guests maximum, seated at the tea bar.

Email info@cha-ology.com with number of guests, preferred date + time, and dietary requirements (if there is more than one preferred date/time, please let us know as it will help us with seating arrangements). 

REMARKS:

Guests will be seated at tea bar. Bookings for 2 or 4 or 6 guests will be considered first, so if you would like to book for 1 or 3 or 5 guests please email us to register your interest. We will try to combine these into full timeslots of 6 guests.  

The usual rules of the teahouse apply to this event, i.e. no perfume, no lipstick, brief photos, no videos. Discussions amongst guests and hosts are highly encouraged! 

If you will be parking nearby we would recommend a duration of 4+ hours.

Payment is taken in advance. Once the seats are confirmed we will be sending the link for payment. If you request to cancel, refunds will only be given if the space(s) are filled. Thank you for understanding!
