A special tasting event to celebrate the shincha (first harvest) season and the hard working farmers/producers. The line up will consist of around 5-6 teas selected as our 2026 shincha favourites. Pairing wagashi will include the most special freshly made Honwarabimochi, made only with 100% honwarabiko.

OMIYAGE:
Each guest will receive Hachiju Hachiya Gentei Shincha 100g tin - picked on the 2nd May (the 88th day counting from Risshun, the arrival of Spring).

REMARKS:

The usual rules of the teahouse apply to this event, i.e. no perfume, no lipstick, brief photos, no videos. Discussions amongst guests and hosts are allowed.

If you will be parking nearby we would recommend a minimum duration of four hours (just in case we can’t stop talking about all the amazing people we work with).
