A young Tokoname artist, Yamada san is the first in the family to make kyusu (althought grandfather and father were also Tokonameyaki potters, focusing mainly on planters and hibachi), his work catches our attention as he makes very light and delicate pieces. You will be surprised by the light weight when you pick up his pieces.

This katakuchi can be used to pour tea in then split into cups for sharing and used as yuzamashi (water cooler) too!
