Join us to celebrate our 10 years of Cha-ology milestone, which is also the closing chapter for Cha-ology - hoshikuzu no chakai.

Hoshikuzu means stardust, which I like to think of as the countless stars scattered across the night sky, sparkling and beautiful. J tells me that stars don’t become dust until after they’ve exploded, but that’s slightly less poetic. Cha-ology’s stardust is every single one of you, whether we have only a short encounter or that you have been there for us for many years, you are one of the shining stars in our lives that make this teahouse possible, and who will be shining on our behalf after we have exploded and moved on to our next stage . 

We have asked one of our long standing artists, Mino Daisuke, to create 54 pieces of teaware with his souten glaze, one for each of our attending guests to take home as part of the omiyage.

This event is exclusive to our regular guests, 54 guests in total.

TEA BAR SEATS - 6 GUESTS MAXIMUM FOR EACH TIMESLOT (ONE TIMESLOT PER DAY)

REMARKS:

The usual rules of the teahouse apply to this event, i.e. no perfume, no lipsticks, brief photos, no videos. Conservations amongst guests and hosts are highly encouraged! 

If you will be parking nearby we would recommend a duration of over 6 hours. Sleeping bags might actually be necessary this time.

Payment is taken in advance towards the end of June. If you request to cancel, refunds will only be given if the space(s) are filled. Thank you for understanding!
