Tea: Gyokuro (or Tencha/Kabusecha/Japanese White Tea)
Houhin is a teapot without handle. It is usually used to brew gyokuro or high grade sencha. Teapot without a strainer is called shiboridashi and this particular one is mogake style meaning it is covered with seaweed for firing therefore creating the special pattern on the teapot.
